Though they are fragile AI or Narrow AI, as they are categorized, the cliché thoughts still recognize AI's as the overpowering robots that would take over the human race in the end. Although there is, however a stronger side to this AI which is called the General AI or A.G.I that is capable of ruling out humans from any conceivable tasks they are provided.

Impotence Of Artificial Intelligence

It could be harsh to know the truth that we are mere humans, and no matter how much we glorify ourselves and embrace the fact that we are survivors and fight our way out. The simplest of all truth is man is mortal, we age, we die, we become emotionally and physically weak, we lose interest and we change, and there was no one in the history who can able to avoid these apparent traits.

Unless we include AI, that is the whole point of this argument. The thing is we need AI's more than they need us. If humans have to fight their way out and flourish like they have been doing, they have to ‘Space-faring' species and not ‘Sea-faring’ anymore. The hard truth that Stephen Hawking enlightened us with was the fact that humans need to go out in space and spread to exist in this considerate universe.

With all this in mind and the current economy in the drain and roughly a global debt or ‘The Mountain of Debts’ of 233 trillion U.S dollars, the only way out in helping ourselves is with the help of these A.I's. Which instead makes sense too, artificially intelligent, software/hardware based creations will never fall prey to the circumstances under which humans are unable to perform. They had high work precision and considered unbeatable in any condition provided which will ease the pressure off humans, both physically and economically once they are mass manufactured. 

Problems With AI: Real Or Vague?

With great powers come great responsibilities, which seem not the case with AI when opinions about them are heard in general. Max Tegmark, the author of the novel, being human in the age of artificial intelligence, has explicitly denied all concerns regarding mainstream thoughts about AI and said it would not be anything like what we think.

The main problem with all the concerns is fair because AI's are path independent, i.e., they have a job to do and that's all it has in its memory, the rest part or the executing part is not its concern as long as the job is done. Which sounds scary, right? It does. But apart from wiping out human race one of other the significant concerns that lie are humans and their dreams.

Concerns That Could Be Of Interest

The fact that A.I's could take away our homeland or associate with each other to form allies and destroy the human race is entirely fiction based theory but still concerns us. It was very well depicted in the game, Detroit: became human and showed the transition of androids to a characteristic human-like natured ‘humans' who was poetic as well as a bit scary. But the if AI's run humans out of their jobs and keeping in mind they could make future robots out of themselves, meaning there would no longer a need for a human to create an AI after that is just saying humans are done. Done with what they used to be.
